Winning the Cup brick by brick on “Inside Alinghi”

Grant Simmer, general manager of Alinghi and head of design, will walk you through the new Alinghi base, explaining the steps it has taken to get it to where it is today and what each area is designed for. The Defender of the 32nd America’s Cup, while totally self-sufficient inside its new walls (the team can eat, train, build, design, etc), also shares the Cup experience with the people. There is a full-size ACC Yacht simulator, the ‘Alinghi experience’ and the interactive zone.

Also, Murray Jones, strategist for Alinghi, will tell you what his job consists of on the defending yacht and what he is doing when he sits up at the top of the mast during the racing.
